Richard Marsden has photos of the
floods yesterday in the North of England and particularly in his hometown of Hull. Say a prayer especially for the poor man who was drowned after his foot was trapped in a manhole. Please also remember all those whose homes were flooded.

It's dreadful business. My aunt lives on the bank of the River Arrow, but thankfully, it didn't rise too much.
